Hi, this is Patrice Badami, with Acorn to Tree parenting book review. And there’s a book I saw when my daughter was very young, an infant. And I said, I have to get this it was called the best homemade baby food on the planet. It’s from Karen Knight. She’s a registered nurse and Tina Ruggerio. And she isn’t a registered dietitian, knows what goes into every bite with more than 200 of the most delicious, nutritious homemade baby food recipes. So I like this because it begins with how you introduce the beginning foods, the single-ingredient foods. Then it teaches you how to start adding different foods to make them more delicious, perhaps incorporating different textures and slowly introducing new foods. So this is just great because the color and pictures are unique. Very helpful. They’re split pea soup. So these recipes can be used for the whole family because you just puree them for the children who don’t have teeth yet. And then you can leave it as larger chunks for the older people in the family. So it’s so that everyone is on the same page. You’re all eating very similar foods in different textures and thicknesses based on your children’s needs. So there are dressings here: avocados and carrots, excellent bean soup, lentils, and rice with yogurt sauce. These are meals you can make for the whole family. So I like this book because it starts with different types of single-ingredient foods and how to enhance them, slowly incorporating new foods into your child’s diet and sharing all these recipes with the rest of the family. So it’s from Karen Knight, Tina Ruggerio. Patrice Badami 1:45 She’s a nurse, Karen Knight, and Tina Ruggerio is a registered dietitian. The best homemade baby food on the planet. Great idea to have on hand. Very helpful. The recipes in this book are nourishing and delicious; the whole family can enjoy many of them.
