Hi, this is Patrice Badami, with Acorn to Tree children’s book review. Today I have Commotion in the Ocean by Giles Andre, and David told me this is a great book. It uses poetry and rhythm to make the illustrations come to life. And it’s very well written because it goes for flows very quickly. I’ll read one little section for you: crab, the crab legs walking sideways, and the reason why is to make himself look sneaky and pretend he’s a spy. So the book goes on like that. And it introduces the different animals with beautiful illustrations. It’s engaging because the text is so rhythmic and wonderfully written. So again, it’s Commotion in the Ocean by Giles Andre, and David would see if you could find it. It’s just so adorable and fun to read.
