Hi, this is Patrice Badami, with Acorn to tree children’s book review. Today I have a book called the Con Pollo, it’s by Jimmy Fallon and Jennifer Lopez. I love this book. It’s a bilingual play time adventure. And the thing I like about this book is it’s important for children to understand that there’s different families who have different languages. And here, what they do is they they help your child begin to learn Spanish. So here, do you want to go to the beach, or go to La Playa con Ball ? So Pollo is a little character in the book. She’s a little chicken. And that’s what pollo means in Spanish. Con means with this chicken. And what’s cute about it is, throughout throughout the book, they see the little chicken have little adventures, and they have it very approachable with the Spanish type below. So throughout the book, it just takes you on the different adventures of this cute little chicken. And it helps to encourage children to start learning another language. And I really find that terrific. It also is for children who their their first language is Spanish, it’s nice to see books that are in Spanish along side of English. So meet Pollo a friendly little chicken who just wants to play once again compile a bilingual playtime adventure from Jimmy Fallon, Jennifer Lopez, and it’s illustrated by Andrea Campos.
