Giraffe Puppet

Hi, this is Patrice Badami, with Acorn to tree crafting with the trees and today I wanted to show you this little giraffe. Now these my fingers are way too big, but this is just the right size for a little kids fingers. So you simply would make this shape a little circle on the bottom with a little long piece in the center for the neck and another circle and you can cut out horns. So look like a little giraffe on the front. You can cut out a circle here to do the mouth part. And then you’ve just cut out in tan little circles with your hole puncher and here and here for the fingers. And the good thing about this is this is also a fine motor skill, teaching your child to use the hole puncher it really strengthens their hands. So it’s a really cute activity a little puppet. And you can also as I always do, you can reinforce it with like, say a cereal box so that when they put their fingers in it doesn’t go over like that it’ll stay right up, but I just wanted to show you the idea.
