Hi, this is Patrice Badami, with Acorn to tree crafting with Patrice. And today I have a very simple yet really fun project for kids. So I took a piece of large white paper, and I made some crazy little designs on it like that, I’ll turn it this way, so you can see a little better. So what I did here was the purpose of this project. And I’ll show you I had I have these stickers, you can get these anywhere, maybe on Amazon. These stickers come in all different colors, and you can use them for all other things. So what I decided to do was make a pattern like this. And so the purpose of this is something I do with my daughter when she was little, and I’ll put one of each color so that you can see I’m taking the coordinating color, and I’m attaching it to the different squiggly lines. So this way you’re incorporating color recognition, eye tracking, you’re also using fine motor skills to peel off the stickers and put them on and so it’s a fun little activity and it keeps them very busy for a while. So as you can see, I started putting dots, the colored stickers on and you can come up with any design you want. It’s great because it’s something they really love stickers. So it’s a cute little idea for the kids and so they’ll be doing this rather than putting stickers elsewhere. Working on a sheet of paper like this is nice and then you can display it too once they are finished.
