Hi, this is Patrice Badami, with Acorn to tree crafting with the trees. And today I have an entertaining idea. This is a rain stick that we made. So let me show you how I did it. Okay, so I used a mailing to, then what I did was I put a bunch of marbles inside. And then, I taped up at the bottom using packing tape on both sides. And then I mailed in little tiny nails, I put a bunch of nails inside, I just hammered them in gently, tiny ones, throughout. And then, I wrapped it with materials. So I have these years when I quilt; this material I had was already in this shape. So I just wrapped it and wrapped it and wrapped and wrapped it, and then I put ribbon on the bottom, just like so.
Like that, and what I like about this is it’s fun, it makes all those noises, but it’s also a great thing for your classroom. So if you want to make something like this, keep it so that the person with the rainstick gets to talk when you’re in circle time. And that’s a great way to have classroom management so that children learn the rules that if they they’re holding this they can speak and no one can interrupt, and it’s just a great idea. It’s really fun. So the more nails you put aside, the more noises it makes, so it’s just a cute idea for craft. See if you liked this do sell below and follow for more crafting ideas.
