Hi, this is Patrice Badami, with Acorn to tree educational toy review. And I wanted to show you a game. It’s called navet. And it’s by the makers of Scrabble. It’s a great game, because it’s a different type of game where you create words from tiles. So you can have up to four players. And each person gets their own bed, there’s four colors. And within the within the bed, there’s the letters. And there’s also a blank letter, or a blank, I guess tile, so that you can change just like in Scrabble, you would be able to use this as a free letter to create words. Now, here’s the thing that’s kind of unique about it. Here’s an example. So if the first person put the word bone down, and the second person said, I know what I can do, I can put a P there, and I can put an h here. That’s what makes it unique right there. You can do that in other games, where you’re able to stack it and create another word, usually you’re just restricted to horizontal and vertical placement of the tiles. So that’s what’s cool about this, you can actually continue raising the letters up, and you still get the credit across with the word you’re creating. But it just makes it a little bit less frustrating for the beginning reader or the, you know, the beginning game player so that they have more options before they feel like shut down that they’re not able to find a word. Once again, they can have a title here, that they if they happen to pick it now, you don’t just automatically get this you have to actually pick this along with your other tiles when you’re picking from the bag to get your portion of tiles to begin the game. So this is a great game. I like it because there’s a lot of flexibility. And it reduces the frustration level for younger readers and begin beginning players of games if you will. So once again, here it is. It’s navtej and it’s by Scrabble. See if you could find it and check it out because I love it. As you can see from the box. It’s very mourn. It’s a very well loved game in my home and I hope maybe you can find it and enjoy it as well.
