It’s by Noreen Paulson, and it’s illustrated by Maria Mola. This book is very important to me because it teaches children about caring for other people. What matters. It teaches them empathy, compassion. It’s a very special book about a little girl named Mila and the choices that she makes concerning a coat that she finds in a thrift store. So this book illustrates in clear terms, what it’s like to care about other people and to put their needs before yours. It’s such a beautiful story. See if you can find it again.
