Hi, this is Patrice Badami, with a 43 Children’s Book Review. Today I have Rosie Revere Engineer by Andrew Beatty, and illustrated by David Roberts. This is an excellent book because it explains how this little girl named Rosie wants to be an engineer and the journey that she takes to do that. She learns about different things concerning engine engineering. It’s a celebration of creativity and perseverance. It’s told with rhyming texts, which gives momentum and a steady pace to the story. It’s consistent with the celebration of its heroine Rosie. So this is just a unique book. And it’s a different concept from other books I’ve seen, and I like how it talks about this child’s particular dream and how she wants to learn a lot about engineering. So once again, this is from Andrea Beatty, and it’s illustrated by David Roberts, Rosie Revere Engineer
