Hi, this is Patrice Badami, with Acorn to tree children’s book review today I have a book called Stellaluna. It’s written by Janelle cannon, and it won an American booksellers Book of the Year award. It also is notified by Reading Rainbow as a book to note and read. So this is a special book about Stellaluna, a baby bat who befriends Three Little Birds and the adventures that they go on. It’s a really cute book and it’s illustrated beautifully. Let me show you one of the illustrations right here. Just beautifully illustrated, that even looks like a photograph. So it’s just a great special story. It’s a classic. Share it with your family. It teaches children about how it’s important to be who you are, and feel confident in your differences from other people. And it also teaches children to appreciate the differences in your friends, the friends being the birds and the bat. So see if you can find it Stellaluna written by Janelle cannon, a American booksellers Book of the Year Award winner and a Reading Rainbow noted book
