Hi, this is Patrice Badami, with Acorn to Tree Children’s Book Review. And today I have a book. It’s written by Crescent Dragon Wagon and the art is from Jessica Love. And it’s called Will It Be Okay? The illustrations are beautiful. This story is so meaningful to me. It talks about how there’s a mom and her child, and how she’s having a conversation with her child about all different things that happen in life. She’s teaching her child, that no matter what happens, knowing that you’re loved, you’ll be able to get through things. And it’s a really important lesson. And I love it because it’s so genuine. And it’s it’s really a story that not a lot of people sit down with your child and really discuss with them that there are going to be things in life that are difficult. But she’s explaining that to her child that even though things are scary at times, knowing that the mom loves her. It helps her have the strength to move on from these things. And she addresses here the mom, even when the child asks questions, like what happens when I don’t have a friend, or what happens when you pass away? I like that it’s a very candid, honest, sweet approach to dealing with these different things. The story moves you across a conversation between a mother and her child. And it’s something we can all relate to. It’s a very special book. It’s a little bit different from other books I’ve read because it’s it’s really like an honest approach to just a discussion between a mom and a child. It’s just very beautiful. I loved it. It’s by Crescent Dragon Wagon, the arts is by  Jessica Love. Will It Be Okay, and the other thing I just want to point out about the art is I just love the colors that she chooses to use in the book. The illustrations arereally pretty. The palette is so special and it makes the characters come to life. Just really pretty. Just a beautiful book. So see if you can find it once again Crescent Dragon Wagon and Jessica Love does the illustrations. I really think this is a beautiful book to share.
